I live in Morocco, in Agadir, and I created Morocco Fan Guide to give visitors the advice I would give a friend: how to get around, what things really cost, and how to enjoy the country without bad surprises, especially ahead of the 2030 World Cup.
What you will find here
Concrete advice: getting around, knowing real prices, avoiding scams, choosing day trips. Everything is published in French and English.
How the articles are written
- My experience first. Benchmarks on taxis, prices, safety and daily life come from living in Morocco. Prices are orders of magnitude and vary by city, neighbourhood and season.
- Other travellers' feedback. I add recent feedback from travellers (forums, videos, trip reports), always presented as such and linked to its source.
- Checked facts. I use research and AI tools, then every fact is checked against official sources where they exist: UK and French government travel advice, Moroccan authorities, UNESCO, transport companies. Reviews, prices and anecdotes are never made up.
- Updates. Each article shows its last update date. Outdated information is corrected or removed.
How the site is funded
The site is free. Some booking links (activities, accommodation, transport) are partner links: if you book through them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That is what keeps the site running, and it does not change the advice: I recommend what I would recommend without a commission.
